Senior Advisor, Community Programs Coordinator

Greg has been a fixture in the Vancouver basketball community for decades.  With his roots in Vancouver Parks and Recreation, Greg has worked tirelessly to grow the game of basketball in the City of Vancouver as well as the Lower Mainland of BC.  Having two daughters who played basketball, Greg understands the importance of young women being involved in elite level athletics.

2010-Present – Associate Coach Langara Women’s Basketball Team

2012 Awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal by the Government of Canada for 30 years of extensive work with children and youth in sport and recreation services.
2012 Co Head Women’s Basketball Coach-Team Vancouver for North American Chinese Basketball Championships
2011 Awarded Builder of the Year from Basketball BC for work with Night Hoops program
20 years coaching experience with Strathcona Community Centre and Sir Winston Churchill Secondary.
One of the original founders of Vancouver Girls’ Basketball Association.
1977 – 2007 Vancouver Parks & Recreation Community Centre Coordinator & Manager
2007 – 2010 Director of Community Relations and Special Projects for the City of Vancouver Olympic and Paralympic Operations
